Chris Stapleton, the acclaimed country songwriter, will perform this summer at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor.

Stapleton, with opener Margo Price and the Marcus King Band, will play in Bangor on Thursday, July 25, as part of his All-American Road Show tour. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, Feb. 1, via Ticketmaster. Tickets are priced at $34.75 to $89.75.

The Kentucky-born and raised Stapleton, a multiple Grammy, Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association award winner, was an acclaimed Nashville songwriter before shooting to fame with his 2015 album “Traveller.” Two follow-up albums, “From a Room,” parts one and two, were released in 2017. Stapleton is renowned for blending soul and Southern rock elements into his music, and has frequently collaborated with other genre-bending country artists such as Sturgill Simpson and the Zac Brown Band. He has written songs for artists including Adele, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Justin Timberlake.

Stapleton’s concert is the latest show set for the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor. Other announced concerts for summer 2019 include Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth on June 15, Phish on June 25 and 26, Florida Georgia Line on July 18, the Impact Festival featuring Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch on July 27 and 28, and Train and the Goo Goo Dolls on July 30. More concert announcements will be coming in the next few weeks.
