A Saco man who gave morphine to his girlfriend and later found her unresponsive will serve eight months in jail for dealing the drug, York County District Attorney Kathryn Slattery announced Friday.
Roger Guest, 59, gave Lidian Coombs the morphine tablets on July 20, 2017, while the couple was staying in a Biddeford apartment, Slattery said. He awoke later to find Coombs unresponsive, and she ultimately was declared dead of a morphine overdose, according to Slattery’s office.
