If you have information demonstrating corruption or unethical behavior of public officials or major employers, the Bangor Daily News wants to review it.

We are interested in documents and hard evidence of newsworthy information. This is not the place to share theories or hunches. Please do not send press releases, corrections or feedback on stories. For those matters, see our contact page.

You may have more than you realize. Emails, electronic and hard-copy schedules, Facebook Messenger notes, text messages, voicemail recordings, phone records, official letters and pictures and videos you took on your phone could all help us verify the story.

If you send us information without telling us who you are, it may be difficult to pursue a story. We encourage you to include contact information so we can talk with you and put your information in context. We protect our anonymous sources.

If you prefer to use secure means, you can send us documents or information through the postal service.
