SNL’s ‘Gay couple from Maine’ accents are more Swedish than Down East

“Saturday Night Live” found humor in the idea of lobstermen making eyes at each other. The problem? The accents are more Swedish than Maine. But, as former BDN Business Editor Matt Wickenheiser notes on Facebook: “You guys have the wrong perspective: There’s NYC, then everyplace else.”
