BANGOR, Maine — Students age 8 to 14 are invited to participate in the American Mathematics Competition on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Schools may register at https://amc-reg.maa.org/r/competitions/registrations/amc8/add.aspx?competition_id=7.
If your school is not participating, students may register and go to Husson University in Bangor, the University of Southern Maine in Portland or University of Maine Presque Isle to participate in the competition. Home-schooled students and private school students also may participate.
There is no cost to students to take part in the competition, but registration is required by calling Eva Szillery at 356-0207 or email mmsets@me.acadia.net.

Students in grades nine and 10 are invited to participate in American Mathematics Competition 10 A on Feb. 5 or the AMC 10B on Feb. 20. Students in grades 11 and 12 may participate in the AMC 12A on Feb. 5 and the AMC 12B on Feb. 20.
