Directions to Hirundo Wildlife Refuge – FROM THE SOUTH
Directions: From the South – Take the I-95 N to ME-43 exit 197 to Old Town/Hudson. Turn left onto Rt. 43 (Hudson Rd). Go west 5.2 mi and look for the large red signs on your right, Gate 1. Parking is on both sides of the gate. Pass through the gate and follow the dirt road for ~1/2 mile. Once you enter the meadow turn left and follow the Thornplum Trail to the Parker Reed shelter.
