AURORA, Maine — After controversy and heated debate, the Community School District 8 board voted 7-3 to join with Brewer and Regional School Unit 15 during the Airline School Committee’s meeting on Wednesday.
Maine airports receive $900,000 in federal aid
The Hancock County and Augusta State airports are slated to receive grants worth more than $900,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins announced this week.
