(L-R) Tina Morrill and Sharon Storti of New Dimensions FCU, and Tara Studley of the Maine Children’s Cancer Program with Sylvio Normandeau, who has been a tireless fundraiser for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program.  Normandeau is holding a $10,000 check the credit union received for a charity for winning a national, video contest.  The credit union donated the $10,000 to the Maine Children’s Cancer Program on behalf of Normandeau and his quest to raise $500,000 for the Program.  The contribution brings Normandeau’s all-time fundraising total to $468,000.

The Maine CU representatives were joined by the Maine Credit Union League in representing the Maine CUs' Campaign for Ending Hunger in making a $7,500 contribution to support the 'Food Mobile' program and help area food pantries provide holiday meals.  Collectively, the contribution will provide more than 30,000 meals.

John Murphy, President of the Maine Credit Union League (l), and Kristen Miale, President of Good Shepherd Food Bank (r) are joined by representatives of the Portland High School Key Club at a presentation the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger made to the school food pantry program offered through Good Shepherd Food Bank.  The Portland High Food Pantry was the first in the state, and will receive funds as part of this contribution.  The Key Club helps to staff the pantry at Portland High School.  This contribution will enable the expansion of school food pantries across Maine.
