A 50-year-old Westbrook woman was found shot to death inside her home Monday night.
The body of Norma Bridges, who lived at 40 Falmouth St., will be sent to the Maine medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine what happened, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
Police went to the home around 9 p.m., but McCausland didn’t say what brought them there or when police believe the shooting occurred. McCausland said police have the gun they believe was used in the shooting.
On Tuesday, the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Bridges killed herself, McCausland said.
