THURSDAY
8:30 p.m. — Benedicta
— A barn is set afire at the home of Kim Irish, 55, on Aroostook Road.
FRIDAY
4:40 a.m. — Silver Ridge Township
— Kary Mayo is tied to a chair and beaten. Guns and a truck are stolen during a break-in.
4:50 a.m. — Benedicta
— Bullets hit a door and a window at the home of Lord’s brother.
5:15 a.m. — Benedicta
— Kyle Hewitt, 25, and Kim Irish, 55, are shot. Irish is wounded; Hewitt succumbs to his wounds hours later. Hewitt’s girlfriend, Brittany Irish, 21, is kidnapped. Police receive 911 call.
5:18 a.m. — Benedicta
— Carlton Eddy suffers a shoulder wound and a side window to his vehicle is shot out as he turns around in the driveway of the Irish home. Eddy went to the home to see the damage done by the fire the night before.
5:50 a.m. — Medway
— An East Millinocket police officer sees the stolen truck near Interstate 95. He pursues the truck but is shot at several times and loses the truck. The officer’s name was not released. Search continues.
6:20 a.m. — Lee
— Police receive a report and discover that Kevin Tozier, 58, is shot dead and Clayton McCarthy, 54, is wounded in a woodlot on Winn Road. A pulp truck is stolen.
2:30 p.m. — Houlton
— State police capture suspect Anthony Lord, 35, at the home of his uncle, Carl Lord Jr. Brittany Irish is with him and is safe.
