Report: Man killed, woman hurt in Newburgh after collision with plow truck

NEWBURGH, Maine — A man was killed and a female passenger injured when a car collided with a Maine Department of Transportation plow truck Wednesday night, according to a report from WABI.

State police told the affiliate that the man appeared to lose control on the snowy road on Western Avenue at around 9 p.m. Trooper Douglas Franklin told WGME that the driver of the car crossed the center line into the path of the plow.

Police didn’t identify the man and woman in the car but said both were 24 years old. The female passenger suffered minor injuries and the plow truck driver was unhurt.

The crash is under investigation.
