NASHVILLE PLANTATION, Maine — A logging truck collided with a train just prior to 11 a.m. Monday in Nashville Plantation.

Investigators with the Maine State Police were still at the scene of the crash early in the evening, which involved a truck owned by CNA Trucking of Fort Kent and a train owned by Maine Northern Railway.

No injuries were reported.

Claire Theriault said Monday evening that she and her husband, Herman Theriault, own the trucking company. Claire Theriault said that the truck was being driven by Wayne Pelletier.

“All that I know at this point was that he said that he was coming down the hill and by the time he saw the train he could not stop,” she said. “There was a crash.”

The accident happened at the intersection of Little Machias Road and the Pinkham Road.
