LAS VEGAS – Frederick Thomas Pete Jr., 30, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born the son of Frederick T. Pete Sr. and Gloria Emerson on March 8, 1983, in Lincoln, where he lived most of his life.
He was well known wherever he went and easily made friends. He loved his motorcycle and performing stunts with it. He loved riding with his friends in Vegas. Now he is riding free on his road to paradise. Fred graduated from Mattanawcook Academy where he excelled at sports; especially golf, basketball, and baseball. He was a natural born athlete and would be excellent at any sport he tried. Fred received the award for “Male Athlete of the year” for his graduating class at MA. After graduating high school Fred spent a year at Husson College before deciding to move to Las Vegas. Fred’s passions were cooking, riding his motorcycle, and his family and friends. His humor and infectious smile would light up any room that he walked into. If you were having a bad day he could easily make your day better and he would keep trying until he succeeded.
Fred will be greatly missed and is survived by his mother, Gloria Emerson; his father and stepmother, Frederick T. Pete Sr. and Karen; paternal grandmother, Lillian Pete; maternal grandmother, Audrey Emerson; maternal grandfather, Irving Emerson; his sisters, Cathy and Jay Schulz, Tammy and Dan MacEachern, Jennie Asher and special friend, Brian Kenneson, Amie and Keith Shain; stepsister, Cassie Pickering and significant other, Jared Peters; brothers, John Mason and sister-in-law, Dawn Mason; stepbrother, Peter Pickering Jr. and significant other, Rebecca Washburn; nieces and nephews, Jeff and Wyatt Schulz, Kevin Lemieux, Kyle Mason (whom he shared his birthday with), Camryn Smith, Hayden Ludden, Payten Shain, Connar and Sofia Pickering; along with several aunts and uncles; and by special friends, Daniel “DJ” LaPlante, Ross Anfuso, Hayley Raines and many other friends too many to mention.
