PORTLAND, Maine — The 2-year-old Farmingdale boy found unresponsive in his family’s pool June 13 died at 4:22 p.m. Friday at Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to a Kennebec Journal report. The death was reported by Maj. Ryan Reardon of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.

Cody Campbell had been on life support at the Portland hospital after being taken there by a LifeFlight helicopter from MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta hospital with only a faint heartbeat.

Two days later, he was reported doing much better; however, his conditioned worsened.
