BANGOR, Maine — A Medway man suspected of stealing razors in the Bangor area has been charged with theft, police said.

Jon Ladd, 30, faces the single misdemeanor charge in connection with a May 29 incident, according to Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards.

On May 29, Officer Jim Dearing fielded a complaint that Ladd stole over $68 in razors from the Hannaford on Union Street, the sergeant said.

A picture of Ladd was subsequently posted on the department’s Facebook page, and police began fielding several calls from the Medway area saying that Ladd has victimized people up there as well, Edwards said.

Ladd was interviewed Tuesday and charged with theft, the sergeant said.
