No new names expected to be released in Kennebunk prostitution case this week

KENNEBUNK, Maine — No new names have been released by Kennebunk police in the ongoing Zumba prostitution case.

Kennebunk police Lt. Anthony Bean Burpee said no names are expected to be released this week in the investigation involving Alexis Wright and Mark Strong.

Strong’s trial is scheduled to begin on Jan. 22, according to Burpee.

Wright, 29, is accused of running a prostitution business out of her Kennebunk Zumba studio with the assistance of Strong. More than 60 men and one woman have been charged with engaging a prostitute in the case, while Wright has pleaded not guilty to 106 counts, which include charges of violation of privacy, tax offenses and prostitution.
