MILFORD, Maine — Police have arrested a man in connection with a redemption center robbery earlier this month.

Josh Long, 24, of Milford was found by detectives on Wednesday afternoon and arrested, according to Deputy Chief Troy Morton of the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

Long reportedly went into the redemption center around 12:35 p.m. July 2 with his face concealed and demanded cash. After allegedly assaulting an employee, he fled into the woods with the cash.

Law enforcement officials had searched for Long throughout the day of the robbery.

Long was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and booked on a charge of Class A robbery, according to Morton. His bail is set at $10,000 cash.
