LINCOLN – Brian Lee Slowikowski, 52, husband of Francine (Dube) Slowikowski, died March 13, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 15, 1959, in Lincoln, the son of Frank T. Slowikowski Sr. and Evelyn L. (Dobson) Slowikowski.

Brian was full of life. He enjoyed four-wheeling, kayaking and spending time with family, but his true passion was the woods.

In addition to his wife, Francine of Lincoln, he is survived by two sons, Nicholas Slowikowski of Howland and Trent Slowikowski of Passadumkeag; three stepchildren, Jeremy of South Carolina, Julia of Hermon and Brittany of Brewer; five brothers, Frank Slowikowski Jr. and Theresa of Tennessee, Rick Slowikowski and Lori of Bangor, Bob Slowikowski of Massachusetts, Jim Slowikowski and Amy of Illinois and Brent Slowikowski and Monica of Bangor; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Kaelyn, Brooke, Riley, Austin, Caleb, Josiah, Ava and Abram; a special aunt, Marie; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dogs, Laska and Lokay. He was predeceased by his parents.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday with Jeremy Bemis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Penobscot Valley Humane Society. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
