BANGOR, Maine — Bangor resident Lisa Gould, a friend of the Florida firefighter who was killed last month in a drug-related homicide, is wanted for failing to show up for court Tuesday morning on an unrelated theft charge.
Superior Court Justice John Nivison issued an arrest warrant for Gould after being told that she had failed to show up for her arraignment on a charge of misdemeanor theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Bangor police arrested Gould, 31, for shoplifting on Sept. 27 after a nearly month-long search for her, Sgt. Paul Edwards said Tuesday.
Police were originally called to Kohl’s at about 10 p.m. Aug. 30 to deal with four people possibly shoplifting, the sergeant said.
Store security caught Gould on a surveillance camera placing perfume, jewelry and underwear in her purse, according to police.
“They tried to stop her, but she kept going out the store and started running,” Edwards said.
While reviewing the store’s surveillance video, Officer Doug Smith recognized Gould and an arrest warrant was issued, the sergeant said. She was arrested a month later and another warrant for failing to appear in court was issued on Dec. 6, Edwards said.
Gould called the Bangor Police Department to report Jerry Perdomo, 31, of Orange City, Fla., missing on Feb. 16. She told police he had visited her once a month for the previous 10 months in order to transport and sell narcotics — mostly prescription pills.
Gould told Maine State Police detectives the Florida man was selling up to 1,500 pills per month in Maine, according to court testimony last week.
Daniel Porter, 24, of Jackson is accused of killing Perdomo, who was a firefighter and emergency medical technician for the Seminole County Fire Department, on Feb. 16 in Jackson and dumping his body in the woods with a gunshot wound to the side of the head.
Porter, who told police he owed Perdomo $3,000, is claiming self-defense in the shooting death.
Gould also told police that when Perdomo prepared to leave her house on Feb. 16, he packed a gun and two cellphones and told her he had to go collect a debt, according to a state police affidavit filed in Waldo County Superior Court two weeks ago.
Gould has a record that dates back to age 16, when she was convicted of purchase-possession of tobacco by a minor. She was sentenced in June 1997 to a $125 fine, according to court documents printed in the Bangor Daily News.
Gould also has two convictions for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in 2002 that both resulted in a jail sentence of nine months, with all but seven days suspended, and probation for one year.
She also has been convicted of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, the BDN listings state.

So, this is her second failure to appear, prior to the first time it took authorities a month to find her after the shoplifting….in between she was associated with the drug runner from Florida and who knows what else….sounds like (IMHO) that when found again Ms. Gould should not be so “free” and possibly should stay behind bars until her court appearance…..or maybe that makes too much sense…..Crazy…..
maybe she went to florida
yea im jus really glad shes not my neighbor anymore! we moved far away jus in the knick of time!!
What a nice girl! How did she dare to report the guy from Florida missing, with a rap sheet like she has? All the information she gave about him to police speaks volumes about herself.
Lisa gave the police department a lot of information. Are you sure she is alive? If she is maybe she went into hiding in fear of her own life.
Maybe more fire people from florida came to vist?
No wonder she didn’t want her full name out, when talking to tv crew.
Maybe she thought giving all the info on the Perdomo case, meant she didnt need to attend court anymore….silly woman!
And the hits just keep on comin………..
Why keep referring to this guy as a “Florida firefighter?” He’s a Florida drug dealer.
Because he wasn’t wearing his drug dealer uniform when the photo was taken…or for the same reason they would still be calling him a “Florida Teacher” or “Florida Police Officer”…The public loves to sling mud at everyone with a public job.
exactly. he surely was making more money from drugs than from being a fire fighter. that means his primary employment was as a drug dealer. quit trying to make him seem like a nice guy who got killed. he wasn’t.
There is a lot of that going around. Making out guys to be nice that were not. A lof of that going on in In Ellsworth the past few days.
Obviously things went bad everywhere,Im curious if they found his source suppling 1,500 pillsa month…? As for the Firefighter aspect yes he was ,but it was his flipside that got him killed and tarnished his Brothers (FellowFireighters)we cant condone what he done or what drove him to it.I pray for his family and children left behind they have a bigger burden to bear…One bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch,as to the murder self defense yeah right shot to the side of the head thats premeditated, justice has been served on one end. I hope it’s served on your end too. There are no winners here just losers..!
Neither was the drug dealer/user, that killed him, and hopefully will spend the rest of his life in jail for doing so.
I think the guy who killed him graduated from the “title” of drug dealer to murderer…
why do you say Halsey was trying to make Jerry look like a nice guy? He says He’s a FL drug dealer
1500 pills per month. I believe the average street value per pill was said to be around $40-50 per pill. Thats $60,000 – $75,000 per month less initial cost per pill and expenses. I’m sure he was selling at a wholesale price probably to be valued at just over half of street value. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that he was bringing back $20,000 – $30,000 back to Florida each month when it’s all said and done. He had a drug dealing job well into the six figure range.
Personally I’m just sick of looking at his disgusting face smiling all the time. I have zero sympathy for either him or Porter who is equally or even more disgusting to me as Perdomo.
He was a drug dealing EMT, to totally actuate.
Just how sleazy is that ?
Because more people will read the story when they see it, just like the stories about “reverend” Bob. It improves their statistics.
Speaking of Rev. Bob……Why hasn’t the Maine State Police released their report? BDN, why aren’t you asking and giving us the results? Unreal…just shove it under the rug!
If they aren’t done with the investigation, it could mean they are getting information and following up on it. I tend to doubt he would only have one victim.
Well, last we heard a couple of months ago was that the investigation would done in a week or two. How about an update on the GREAT “Rev. Bob” OZ?
Yeah, but maybe they have another 50 or so victims to interview.
With a Maine Petty Criminal as his adulterous lover.
appears Jerry knew how to pick them
he is also dead, so why not show a little humanity to his family and practice a little respect. Geesh…you folks are truly something.
His death is the direct result of his choice to be a drug dealer. He showed no respect or humanity for those whose lives he destroyed by selling them drugs. To keep referring to him as a firefighter is demeaning to the real firefighters, EMT’s, and police who put their lives on the line to protect us.
No, this man doesn’t deserve to be known first as a firefighter and second as a drug dealer. Clearly his primary source of income was NOT from fighting fires. But… I do think the reference to firefighter does serve a logical purpose.
Stating his profession (his cover) is a reminder that people from all walks of life can be criminals. We’ve got clergy who look like a trusted friend, we’ve got teachers in a position of trust who molest students, and yes, we’ve got drug dealers who look like clean cut firemen. Look at his picture – he looks like he could do no wrong! Hear his profession – firefighters are the “good” guys, right? But behind that clean-cut appearance, beautiful smile and firefighter illusion is a drug dealer who doesn’t care if children buy his pills, doesn’t care who gets hooked, who dies.
I haven’t heard anyone say that Florida officials or any officials anywhere even suspected this Florida man was drug trafficking before this happened. Why is that? Well, probably because they didn’t know, probably because no one suspects a firefighter with a bright and beautiful smile and suburban family to be a hard core drug dealer. This man was simply above their radar by virtue of his profession. Once again it goes to show that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
Do you know how many lives and families are messed up from him coming up to Maine to sell his drugs and pimp his ride? That is not okay. I have no respect for people that deal these hard drugs….it ruins lives. Go down to the methodone clinic and try to understand.
I have been there. I have also dealth for a very long time with a son that was on drugs, so please dont lecture me on drug use. People that use drugs choose to do so. Once addicted, they NEED to do so. He is nor better or worse than someone who drills for oil. In case you havent notices, we all need that too and regardless how high the price goes, we keep on paying the pusher. This was a HUMAN BEING. He wasnt a good person, i get that, he wasnt a nice guy, i get that too, but what i dont get is how everyone from Maine is ganging up on this guy because he was coming up here from Florida? How about the many Mainers that go down there.? I believe in compassion. This man is dead, he doesnt have the chance to fight for a lighter sentence and still have a life. We might do well to remember that.
Very well said, I couldn’t have said it any better myself. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and may he R.I.P
I don’t believe anyone is ganging up on him because he is from Florida. If you were reading these comments expecting an outpouring of compassion for a drug dealer that died in a drug deal gone bad, I can see why you are disappointed though.
You can get whatever you want right in Bangor, the streets are all well known, so someone coming up from Fla. is just another one selling, if what is being said is true!!–I have no use for the sellers , or the users—people know what their getting into when they start this crap—No one twists their arms and says “do it”.–Sorry, but I have no respect for either one!—But murder is another story entirely! It’s a cold hearted person that can empty a bullet in to someones head!—And there’s only one man left to tell the story!—Mostly prescription drugs—-So why are the doc’s that are writing these prescriptions still free to do so??
Drugs and murder go hand and hand; this story is nothing new and happens everyday.
Was’nt he in the “Marine’s” before he joined the fire department?
Well she’s a winner…
Yep. But she sure ain’t a prize.
Can you imagine?
Let me tell you something BDN, keep digging into this girls past and many pieces of the puzzle with come together.
Hey Justice John Nivison, maybe the bail wasn’t high enough for a drug dealer?
How about something realistic next time?
Stephen King couldn’t write a story that is this twisted and he write some weird s**te.
When I mentioned her name a few weeks ago in a comment on a Portland Press Herald article, my comment was edited out because I included her name. I guess it was to protect the ‘innocent’.
They were likely holding back on publishing her full name until they checked some facts. You disrespected them by trying to publish it anyway.
I guess she’s a big consumer of the legal system. One day she’s practically the state’s star witness in a murder trial. The next day she’s a defendant in another crime.
Her source of married men?
oh the company Mr Perdomo kept!
Now, now. She said he was just a “friend”.
at least she was stealing things , so she would look nice for her friend not just items that weren’t needed like food or meds. Oh must of had enough meds> I forgot
sort of looks like his wife
thats exactly what i thought when i saw the picture!
She did it once and you didn’t think she would do it again? Me thinks she doesn’t want to be involved.
Another winner!
I Want her. One pill and she’s Mine.
Ms. Gould entered the legal system early (16) by illegally purchasing TOBACCO.
A life of crime, -criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, theft, narcotics – followed.
Ultimately ending with her involvement in the illegal drug trade.
And a drug dealers death.
TOBACCO , The Gateway Drug.
Just say NO !!
Let’s call it a day. All the characters here seem to be real savory.
Now what keeps me awake at night is the thought of the eventual victim, and the eventual perpetrator – alledged- BOTH going to the PSD days before (strange as that seems), EACH claiming the other had a weapon, and was prone to violence. Was this true? and didn’t any officers act on this info before the wheels came off??
It was clear that Porter contacted them to complain about Perdomo. I think Perdomo’s allegations might have been his response when confronted about Porter’s complaint.
“wanted for failing to show up for court “… Did anyone think she was going to stay around the ranch? Chicken Little told her the sky was falling!
This case is just sickening, a drug dealing, threatening to kill others firefighter is murdered and the missing person report is called in by his drug selling “friend”
What a screwed up mess. I have pitty for Mrs. Perdomo – she looks like a decent person that was involved with a really screwed up guy.
Get real….Perdomo’s wife was right in the mix of it. With that kind of money coming into your house are you telling me you think she didn’t know. Stay tuned.
I did not say she did not know about the money coming in – what i did say was that Perdomo was a really screwed up guy.
You said “I have pity for Mrs. Perdomo”. That is my point. She had no problem spending the money and living in their $350,000. house. Does that make her any better than him?
abcd GOLFVIEW abcd CHARLES2 houses
Maybe each trip he made here he took care of business and then took Lisa out to Hollywood Slots. So maybe his wife didn’t see extra money coming into the house. Just one of many possibilities to consider.
Geez, thry had her and let her go… Go Figure!!
If she has gone out of state I hope they don’t look to hard for her.
ms. perdomo cannot be pleased that she is the one he has been shacking up with
According to “Ms Perdomo” he wasn’t “shacking up” he was just “moving a friend”. SO now you have to ask yourselves, Why was “Ms Perdomo” really hanging around Bangor? Jealous women do crazy things & why wouldn’t she be at home grieving with her 3 & 10 year old children, unless she, of course, had an agenda.
Nice try. There is NO way, zero chance that she killed her husband. Mr. Porter already admitted to that fact. Disgusting you would even suggest it. Porterfan? are you serious? Either you are a relative or family friend, or you are in need of some serious help. In either instance, anyone that is a fan of his should probably be checked out themselves since Porter is a murderer after all.
maybe the wife got Lisa
Oh i am sure a lady from Florida, drives all the way up to Maine, kills her husband’s lover in revenge, and then heads back to florida. She puts raising her two children alone for them ending up with relatives…makes perfect sense…why didnt i think of that? Because i have common sense, that is why.
We haven’t seen any wal-mart surveilance video on your theroy yet.
I wasn’t implying that she killed her husband, maybe you are in need of some serious help. Read the post. Are you the one “Ms Perdomo” is “shackin” up with now? Just a little over protective of Perdomo’s wife but that would make you a Porter relative too if you are the one “shackin” up with her. Oh, What a tangled web.
No i think you need the help. With a name like that and what it suggest is plain old stupid and you are only doing it cause you are hiding behind your computer in your room somewhere. I would love to see you make a shirt and show up at the court that says porterfan and see how stupid you look than but most likely the coward you are that will never happen
The answer to that is serious help or more. A relative or friend is on thing but the word “fan” implies so much more like admiration for what he did.
And what does your name imply Mr. Paul Bunyan. Compensating? I bet you have a huge truck as well.
I guess it takes a rocket scientist to see what it means. It means I’m Paul, NOT Bunyan. But I guess anybody who claims to be the fan of a cold-blooded murdering thief drug dealer isn’t exactly a rocket scientist. Danny boy didn’t murder to get out of some puny debt he owed for pills. He ruined his drug supply credit line by not keeping his word and paying on time. So he went ahead and shot Perdomo in the side of the head, probably execution style. He helped himself to the cash and stash. He tried to make up stuff as if it was self defense but it’s not. The motives are obvious. Nowak has already told the cops he paid $8700 for that car and she thinks he still had about $4000 left. You’re a fan of that?
Finally someone on this post board that is seeing this case with their eyes wide open..Thank you for posting. I was beginning to believe i was the only person from Maine that had any common sense left.
He would have done the same thing to a non drug dealer. It’s just a matter of choosing a victim with money that he can lure into place for the kill.
I was thinking the very same thing.
Maybe she has something to do with the disappearance of Lisa Gould.
or maybe she knew about Lisa and didnt care because her and Perdomo were split up but lived together for their children’s sake.
you would say anything to try and help your STAR “Porter” out. Too bad he has someone as dumb as you as a fan lol cause every one of your comments have been so one sided it fits with your name. Open your eyes and see the story without being biased like the rest of us and maybe you will actually start making some sense
“Gould has a record that dates back to age 16, when she was convicted of purchase-possession of tobacco by a minor.” Tobacco, the gateway drug. Her parents must be so proud.
I am 51 and I thought the same thing.
and two pair of shoes.
True that!
Wow, what a double life this guy had. He dealt drugs and was having an affair with a petty thief.
I have a feeling she has a darker career then petty thief.
It seems that her testimony will be important for an argument of self-defense and to define the character of the drug dealer from Florida. She deserves some credit for telling her story which has been recorded by the police.
Better to report it to the public/ safer anyway in this case.
1,500 pills per month. Hmmmm…without specifics it’s a little tough to figure what his monthly haul was, but let’s say he was making a gross profit of $10 a pop on each of his 1,500 pills…minus the associated vehicle expenses of a round trip to Fla. at say $.35 per mile…a few bucks to wine and dine the girlfriend…Holy pharmaceuticals Batman…sign me up!
Not to mention what he was selling in Florida
He might not have been pooping where he slept. But that didn’t work out real well. Maybe thought he could strong arm a hick from the sticks…
Wow, you must be perfect huh? It amazes me the disgusting comments that people make towards others when hiding behind thier computer screen. Maybe you should take a good look in the mirror at all of YOUR flaws…i am sure there are many.
If I were her I would be considering witness protection.
If I had to make an educated guess, I’d say that’s where she is. The authorities are hiding her because this is bigger than any of us think.
If authorities are hiding her, they wouldn’t have made a big deal about her not showing up to court today for the 3rd time.
Two different courts, different Judges. Wires get crossed, anything is possible
Honestly to me witness protection??? why was she at the crime seen when the murder took place? Sounds like she gave her statement to me to a news crew which has already been on national tv. What else is she going to tell everyone? That Perdomo said he was going to find porter and shoot him? If that was the case im sure the exmarine vs a homeless pill addict there would have been a different outcome.
I thought both helped 1 to age gracefully
wow this is my first comment that was flagged for review, it was a very mild comment
I believe that phrase is used in ME also
I say this Gould has to send some time in Jail. She is just a criminal. Lock her up!
maybe the wife is putting her up
Nice pic.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.
So, this was the hottie he travled thousands of miles to have an affair with?
Maybe the loving wife knows where the girlfriend is? She came all the way to Maine for something.
now dont you feel stupid jumping to conclusion that are just so irrational maybe next time you will think a little before you type your response people these days just hide behind a computer and say w/e is on their mind makes me sick.
Or the crooked wench above.
Little button above the “shift” button on your keyboard. See it? It’s called the “caps lock”. Press it for us, would you? Thanks.
