Bangor police investigating Norway Road death

BANGOR, Maine — Detectives with Bangor Police Department’s criminal investigation division went to a Norway Road residence Thursday night to look into the death of a 22-year-old male, Bangor police Lt. Steve Hunt said Friday.

The man’s body was discovered just before 6 p.m.

The death is not suspicious and the cause of death is pending toxicology tests, the lieutenant said relaying information from Lt. Tim Reid, who heads the Bangor Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.

Details about what detectives found after arriving at the residence were not released.

Norway Road is a short roadway situated in a residential community next to the Bangor Municipal Golf Course in the city’s west side.
