Maine biologists discuss bear population in light of upcoming referendum

Bear biologists Randy Cross and Jennifer Vashon with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife discuss the growing black bear population in Maine and how that relates to the upcoming referendum to ban the use of bait, hounds and traps in bear hunting on Aug. 5, 2014, at the department’s Bangor offices.
