Home-schooling family in East Millinocket backs virtual academy

Raeney Linscott is home-schooled by her mother. If the Maine Connections Academy is able to successfully negotiate a contract with the Maine Charter School Commission, she will attend the state's first virtual charter school next year. Her younger sister, Emma, is also home-schooled but is not yet old enough to attend the Maine Virtual Academy.
