HALLOWELL, Maine — The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Maine will hold its annual meeting on Saturday November 2. A panel discussion about “Two Tales of End-of-life Experiences” will begin at 10 a.m. Two speakers will tell about their respective experiences when dealing with the deaths of a spouse or child, affirming life through the assistance of hospice caregivers and compassionate funeral directors. A hospice choir will explain their work with hospice, as well as performing the music they sing together. Have you wondered how you would deal with the death of a loved one far away?
Do you want to learn more about Hospice and what it can offer to you?
This presentation will provide you with an opportunity to ask people in the know your questions about the options available to you as you leave instructions for your funeral arrangements
The public is invited to attend, free of charge. The presentation is 10-11 a.m., followed by questions and discussion. Please join us on Nov. 2 at Granite Hill Estates Retirement Community, 60 Balsam Drive in Hallowell. For more information, visit www.fcamaine.net.
