WATERVILLE, Maine — What do the General Lee, Herbie, Kitt, Eleanor and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang have in common? They are as eclectic as the cars you will find at the first Kalli Dumont Memorial Car Show presented by the Our Hearts Foundation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 11, at Head of Falls on Front Street. The K.D.M Car Show is open to all makes and models of cars. No car will be left behind! The entry fee for show cars is $10.
All proceeds go to the Our Hearts Foundation and will benefit families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. The pain that is felt from this type of loss not only affects the mother, but the father, siblings, extended family, and friends. However, it is rarely acknowledged.
Don’t have a car to show. No problem! Join us as through free admission as a spectator for a day of food, music, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, kids’ activities, vendors including well known silhouette and caricature artist Ruth Monsell and of course cars, cars, cars! The Our Hearts Foundation was founded in 2012 with the desire to connect these families to each other to provide support and offer the community information about this very real heartache. For more information about the foundation please visit ourheartsfoundation.org
