Maine Wedding Company’s wants Aroostook County wedding professionals

The Maine Wedding Company, Maine’s largest online guide to venues, vendors and ideas for a your Maine wedding, is calling on The County— Aroostook County!

Way at the top of our great state of Maine sits a beautiful region known for it’s wildlife and rustic living. Mainers lovingly call its simply, ‘The County.’ To celebrate the hard working wedding professionals serving Aroostook County, we are rewarding three memberships to deserving businesses.

Why are we just giving away three MWC memberships? We know serving a vast and remote area has its own set of challenges. The MWC celebrates the entire state of Maine’s wedding industry and wants our readers from around the nation to better know this gorgeous region as a unique and beautiful destination wedding location. MWC readers need more wedding information about this part of Maine.

Now, we need your input! MWC is calling for nominations of great bridal shops, venues and services for the Aroostook County area.

If you know of an outstanding wedding business serving couples and the Maine wedding industry well in the Aroostook County area, please submit their name and website ASAP to us at or here at our Facebook page. The nominee submission area will be pinned at the top there from May 6 until midnight May 21.

All nominees must reside in Aroostook County, be a venue or store with a physical address in Aroostook County or be able to prove regular traveling to serve The County with wedding-related services.

Final nominees will be listed on our Facebook page by May 24 for voting. Voting will take place through June 3. Final results and new MWC members will be announced on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.

Each winner will receive a year-long membership and directory listing with the MWC, full lead service, listing on The Maine Wedding App and be able to of course add blog posts, content, events pictures, video and expert advise to the MWC website as an industry expert.
