BANGOR, Maine — State Sen. Geoff Gratwick (D-Bangor) and Reps. Aaron Frey, Tori Kornfield, and John Schneck will offer a community public forum from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 23, on the second floor of Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St.
The public will have an opportunity to share concerns, ask questions and learn more about the two-year state budget proposed by Gov. Paul LePage. The legislators also will give overviews of other upcoming legislation.
“I look forward to getting feedback about the proposed budget from members of our community,” said Senator Gratwick. “The budget as presented will have a major impact on us all and change the way taxes are levied. It is important to gather as many different viewpoints as possible as we begin to consider its potential effect on our region.”

Sen. Gratwick represents Senate District 32, which includes Bangor and Hermon. He is Chair of the Insurance and Financial Services Committee and also serves on the Environment and Natural Resources Committee. This is his first term in the Senate.
Rep. Frey represents House District 18. He serves on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. This is his first term in the House.
Rep. Kornfield represents House District 17. She serves on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee. This is her first term in the House.
Rep. Schneck represents House District 16. He serves on the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee. This is his first term in the House.
