PORTLAND, Maine — Maine Community Health Options (MCHO), the Maine Medical Association, and Crescendo Consulting Group will deliver a panel discussion on “Strategic Business Options and the ACA” at the upcoming Maine Human Resources Convention at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
Kevin Lewis, chief executive officer, and Joyce McPhetres, chief human resources officer of MCHO, will be joined by Gordon Smith, executive vice president of the Maine Medical Association, and Beth Austin, principal of Crescendo Consulting Group, for the presentation.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a timely topic about which all four speakers bring unique expertise and perspective. Organizations will be facing a number of important decision points as a result of the ACA and the presentation will help attendees ask the right questions to make these choices and manage their implications.
The presentation also will cover the critical aspects of the ACA, options that will be available to Maine businesses in 2014, and decision-making methods for HR leaders.
The Maine Human Resources Convention takes place May 7-10, and the panel discussion will be 2:30-4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7. A more detailed schedule and additional information can be found at http://www.mainehr.com/page/905/maine-hr-convention.
