Stearns Girls Basketball 29 at Penobscot Valley 53

At Howland, Kayla Dube scored 18 points off six three-pointers to pace Penobscot Valley past Stearns High of Millinocket.

Molly McGinn had 13 points and Shaelyn Jones scored eight more for the winners.

The other scorers for PVHS were Kassy Taylor (4), Sami Ireland (3), Amy  Hallett (2), Malloree Workman (2) and Mikayla Roy (1).

For Stearns,  Taylor Pelkey had 15 points to lead the way.

The other scorers were Mikayla Glidden (4), Alex Mooney (3), Lisa Candage (2), Mikey Murphy (2) and Abby Fiske (1).
