Stearns Boys Basketball 72 at Lee 75

At Mallett Gym in Lee on Friday night, Charles Tung-Fang scored five 3-pointers to help the Pandas pull out the overtime win over the Minutemen of Millinocket.

With 10 seconds remaining in regulation, Tung-Fang’s 3-pointer tied the game 63-63. He then hit another 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in overtime to break a 72-all tie.

Lee Academy was led by Cherif Fall’s 23 points and 16 rebounds. Tung-Fang finished the game with 16 points and Devin Peters scored all his 13 points in the second-half and overtime. Lewis Wang added10 points.

Stearns’ Seth Brown led all scorers with 38 points, highlighted by six 3-pointers. Ryan Hallett chipped in14 points.
