Old Town Boys Hockey 1 at Brewer 7

WINSLOW — Tyler White scored two goals and recorded two assists to lead the top-ranked Brewer Witches to a 7-1 high school hockey victory over the No. 5 Old Town Coyotes in an Eastern Maine Class B semifinal at Sukee Arena Saturday night.

Brewer advanced to Tuesday’s 7 p.m. regional final at Alfond Arena in Orono against No. 2 Messalonskee of Oakland, which beat No. 3 Presque Isle 8-0 in its semifinal.

Spencer Valley chipped in with a goal and three assists for the Witches, now 18-1. Michael Shedd and Kyle Alexander each added a goal and an assist while Joey  Fowler and Gabe Valley notched a goal apiece. Jacob Chapman had two assists and Adam Cossette made 15 saves.

Peter Wilcox scored off an assist from Trevor Francis for 10-9-1 Old Town and Nathan Colannino made 35 saves.
