Bangor Girls Soccer 4 vs Mount Ararat

At Bangor, Grace MacLean scored three goals, including one off a direct kick, to power the top-ranked Rams by the No. 8 Eagles of Mount Ararat.

The Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a direct kick. Two goals by MacLean made it 2-1 at the half. Her first goal was a direct kick from 22 yards and her second was assisted by Mary Butler.

Bangor made it 3-1 early in the second half on an unassisted goal by Maclean when she was able to get around the goalie to an empty net.

Mount Ararat made it 3-2 off a corner shot with 12 minutes left. Anna Marie Dagher quickly scored again for the Rams to end the game at 4-2.

Cordelia Stewart finished with 6 saves on 8 shots for the 14-1 Rams, who will host No. 5 Mt. Blue in an Eastern Maine Class A semifinal Saturday.

Michelle Pelletier and Lauren Williams combined to make 13 saves on 19 shots for 10-6 Mount Ararat of Topsham.
