Hamilton Women's College Hockey 4 at Colby 0

WATERVILLE, Maine — Cierra San Roman and Savannah Shaw combined for 23 saves for the Colby College women’s hockey team in a 4-0 loss at Hamilton College on Saturday in NESCAC play.

The Mules (1-4-1 overall, 0-3-1 NESCAC) play at Saint Anselm College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Hamilton improved to 4-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
Game highlights
* The Mules, after a tough 1-0 overtime loss to Hamilton, got off to a slow start in the first period. However, the Mules had 20 shots in the final two periods.
* Andrea Rockey had a goal and an assist for Hamilton in a 2-0 opening period. The Continentals added a power play goal in the second period.
* San Roman made 16 saves in 50:49, while Shaw played the final 9:11 and stopped seven shots.
