Bangor 84 at Skowhegan Area 51

SKOWHEGAN, Maine — Junior center Conner Adams had 22 points and nine rebounds and Bangor made 10 of its 22 3-point shots en route to an 84-51 Class A boys basketball victory over Skowhegan on Friday night.

The win was the second straight for the Rams, now 2-1. Skowhegan falls to 1-2.

Bangor shot 57 percent overall (17 for 30) and 50 percent from beyond the arc (7 of 14) in the first half while building a 44-29 halftime advantage.

Alex Campbell added 15 points for Bangor while Sean Tocci scored 10 — with each making three 3-pointers. Hunter Boyce dished out six assists.

Senior center Taylor Bacon led Skowhegan with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman guard Isaac Witham added eight points.
