ORONO — The Friends of the Orono Public Library are hosting a talk by Orono’s own award-winning middle school counselor Tracey O’Connell. The talk will be about the health and well being of children, an issue made especially crucial to many community members due to the pandemic. O’Connell will specifically talk about social emotional learning, how to foster emotional resiliency, and the role of school counselors.
