Greg will discuss the origins and early successes of historic preservation nationally, and how these successes led to the broad community impact of historic preservation in Maine today, particularly in the greater Portland area.

Greg has served as a Trustee for the National Trust for Historic Preservation and founding Chair of its affiliate Statewide and Local Partners, and past Chair of Preservation Action, the national lobbying organization. His professional experience has extended from Vermont to Georgia, and now Maine.
