PORT CLYDE, Maine — The annual Port Clyde Baptist Church Fisherman’s Doll Fair will be held 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7,  at the Port Clyde Baptist Church on Route 131.
The sewing circle has been making dolls since 1977, when the fisherman doll was born. Our last original sewing circle member passed away this spring, leaving the well-trained second generation to carry on.
Dolls featured this year will be the Fisherman, their wives, Lobsterettes, Mermaids, King Neptune, The Captain Doll and a variety of specialty dolls.
There  also will be a variety of other crafts, quilts, other dolls and baked goods, including homemade Maine Blueberry pies.
For more information call Terry Bomba, 372-8082.
