Dawna Meader-York is a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township. A master in bead and leather work, Dawna will demonstrate moccasin making. Sewn with only one piece of thread, to represent the Circle that connects all things, Dawna’s moccasins are beautiful, durable, and walk in many places; even as far as Alaska! Presented in partnership with Acadia National Park. Rain location: Abbe Museum Downtown. Free and open to the public.
