BANGOR, Maine — Penobscot Community Health Care is hosting a free educational session on the Health Insurance Marketplace at Brewer Medical Center, 735 Wilson St., Brewer, 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. The event is open to the public and is intended to provide more information about the marketplace and coverage options, as well as assist those interested with the enrollment process. PCHC will be working with MeHAF and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, among others, to educate the public about the marketplace and encourage enrollment which runs Oct. 1, 2013, through March 31, 2014.
This event is free and open to the public. Representatives from Anthem, Maine Community Health Options, Washington-Hancock Community Agency, and PCHC will be available to answer questions, address any concerns, and assist with enrollment.
