Travel to the Bigelow Mountains of Maine. Hike on the Appalachian Trail through Stratton Pond, Cranberry Stream, Horns Pond, and historic Flagstaff Lake. Go fishing in Maine’s highest trout fishing pond while learning about high alpine ecology and Leave No Trace ethics with abundant wildlife views, including Sugarloaf Mountain. A challenging hike for the beginner, however, we will make the Bigalow hike into a leisurely hike since we will take several days to do it, so beginer hikers can do it. This trip will be led by A Maine Guide, Wilderness EMT, and lifeguard; learn all about ecology and earth skills, and wilderness first aid. Transportation from Brooks Maine offered.

Cost:$750 + $300 per additional family member
