Explorations Read Aloud: The Sound of Waves
May 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Friday, May 7, 11 a.m. to noon. Explorations Read Aloud: The Sound of Waves. Local thespian Joseph Coté will read aloud selections from Yukio Mishima’s book. Set in a remote fishing village in Japan, it is a timeless story of first love. A young fisherman is entranced at the sight of the beautiful daughter of the wealthiest man in the village. They fall in love, but must then endure the calumny and gossip of the villagers. New readings become available to watch every Friday at 11 a.m. in the “videos” section of the library’s YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
