A $2 billion private toll road running 220 miles across the State of Maine has been proposed to provide a link to markets in the midwest. Supporters claim that the East/West Highway will revitalize state and local economies while opponents say that the major thoroughfare will harm the environment and destroy the rural way of life. Both sides will be available to make their case at this lively and controversial forum.
