The Pollitt family has gathered to celebrate Big Daddy’s 65th birthday. What follows is an evening of ‘lies and liars’, as everyone has an agenda. Tensions mount as youngest son Brick, a faded football hero, must confront his marriage to the determined Maggie and the ever growing animosity between himself and his older brother Gooper. The celebration takes a surprising turn when Brick and Big Daddy sit down for honest conversation – Brick’s drinking; the turbulent triangle between Maggie, Brick and his best friend; the grasping Gooper and his wife Mae; Big Daddy’s feelings for Big Mama; his failing health, and the future of the family plantation. The evening comes to a stormy and steamy climax as truths are finally revealed.

Directed by Kate Fletcher, the cast includes Mallory Adams (Bremen), Tod Widdecombe (South Thomaston), Christine Tupper (Damariscotta), Corey Honkonen (Rockland), Kim Fletcher (Rockland), Geary Smith (Rockland), Nick Lapham (Tenants Harbor), and Michael Rowe (Waldoboro).
