Students will learn to sight-read rhythmic patterns and notes on the grand staff while developing muscle memory as they move from single notes to chords. Students will build a 4-song (or more) repertoire to play for the holidays. This class is appropriate for students with little to no prior experience.
INSTRUCTOR: Julienne Ewing – Julie is the band and orchestra director at John Bapst. She has her BS in Music Ed with a concentration in Classical Piano from USM and has been teaching music for 38 years.
COST: $100 + $20 for music = $120
MEETS: 8-week session- Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov 4, 11, 18
Payment Deadline: Sept 25 – You will be notified via email by Sept 28 if the class will run (most classes will be run with 8 or more participants). ANYONE can join us… classes are being offered for the entire Bangor area.
