Putney Promotes Lancaster and Dobrinick, adds two to sales team

PORTLAND, Maine — Putney, Inc., a rapidly growing veterinary pharmaceutical company focused on the development and sale of generic prescription medicines for pets, has promoted Shannon Lancaster to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Jason Dobrinick to Manager of Inside Sales. In his new role, Lancaster will strengthen Putney’s commercial operations by enhancing the reporting and forecasting capabilities while also providing the financial insight required to support the company’s rapid growth. Dobrinick will now oversee Putney’s inside sales team and is responsible for the team achieving its annual sales objectives.

Lancaster has played an instrumental role in Putney’s long-term strategic planning process and on-going forecast development while also providing the financial insight and market analysis required to support the company’s rapid growth. He says Putney’s financial modeling, planning and analysis have evolved quickly in anticipation of new product launches from the company’s active pipeline. “Financial accuracy, as well as meaningful insight about our current commercial success, will enable us to make decisions that maximize our future performance,” says Lancaster.

Dobrinick says his team will focus on providing all veterinarians—even those whose primary distributor is blocked by branded pharmaceutical company contracts— immediate access to Putney’s high quality, affordable generics. “Veterinarians want Putney’s generics because it allows them to provide pet owners with high quality medicines at a fair price, which underscores the integrity of their practice.
