Orrington celebrating 225th birthday July 13-21

Old Home Week’s mission is to celebrate Orrington’s rich past, vibrant present and bright future with former residents, friends and neighbors. It will showcase the best of Orrington: their 225-year history, distinct villages, beautiful natural resources, excellent schools, numerous businesses, churches and organizations and the friendly people.
Old Home Week events will kick-off with a huge parade down Route 15 on Saturday, July 13. Other events during the week include an Evening at Wiswell Farm complete with beanhole bean supper, historic re-enactments and cannon fire; the Curran Farm and Museum Summer Festival; the town-wide Endless Yard Sale; garden tour; church BBQs and ice cream socials; arts and crafts fair; photo contest; bass fishing tournament; triathlon; whiffle ball tournament; alumni basketball games; Audubon activities, bluegrass concert; open houses at our many organizations and much, much more!
