ROCKLAND, Maine — Coming up September 8-14, 2013 Lobsterpalooza, a week-long celebration of lobster, will feature K. Stephens, author of “The Ghost Trap,” as she offers two books readings combined with beer or wine pairings.

On Wednesday, September 11 from 4:00-5:30 p.m., Stephens teams up with Rockland Food Service, 195 Park S., Rockland, for a free beer tasting and presentation.

On Thursday, September 12 6:00-7:30 p.m. Stephens will once again team up with Breakwater Vineyards Tasting Room, 373 Main St, Rockland for the same presentation.

While folks enjoy their tastings, Stephens will splice fictional excerpts of her award-winning novel (Leapfrog Press, 2009) with short documentary-style video clips of Maine Buggin, featuring a day in the life of 4th generation Maine lobsterman Ryan Post. This fast, exciting presentation gives the inside scoop on how lobster traps work, how they’re caught and how invisible territory lines are drawn.

Books will be for sale and available for signings. For more information visit: www.theghosttrap.com Visit Rockland Food Service and Breakwater Vineyards for more information on products and tasting schedules.
