DEXTER, Maine — During the summer of 2012 , the Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis Thrift Shop was able to construct a much-needed addition to our facility on Grove Street in Dexter which had been in the planning stage since 2010. We want to recognize the following for their very generous support of this project.

Gregory W. Crispell Co.,Inc, Dover Foxcroft for Surveying our property.

McKusick Construction, Dexter for the site work.

Lancaster Foundations, Dexter for the foundation work.

Haley Construction, Guilford for the concrete products.

Dexter Lumber, Dexter for discounting construction materials.

Gary Crane, Exeter for electrical installations.

Lawyer David Gray, Dexter for deed work.

Dexter Shoe, Jason Reed and Ron Fanjoy for interior fixtures.

Randy Webber Dexter Utility District, for helping with excavation parameters.

Rob Miller, carpenter, Dexter for planing advice.

Chuck Elms for excavation advice.

Cathy and Tony de Beurs for their cooperation in restructuring their abutting property line to accommodate proper setback code requirements.

The financial saving realized from the above contributions allowed us to complete this project within our very limited budget. Ultimately these savings will return to the community through our many programs for the children of the community and community service projects.

Investments in our community and especially its youth are the core of the Kiwanis mission.
