WATERVILLE, Maine — Anti-Judaism and Its Implications: A Symposium will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 27, in the Robinson Room of Miller Library of Colby College. In “Anti-Judaism: The Western Tradition,” David Nirenberg traces the history of anti-Judaism across more than two millennia and argues that those ideas played crucial roles in the formation of Western thought itself. This discussion-oriented symposium will explore implications of Nirenberg’s work through a series of roundtable conversations; panelists will circulate short papers in advance to fellow participants and registered attendees. To register, contact Professor David Freidenreich at or 207-859-4646.
