Beginning three weeks ago, the University of Maine has posted 100 signs in Bangor, Old Town and Orono urging locals to purchase season tickets for football and men’s hockey games.

America East eliminates men’s basketball tourney play-in game

“We all looked at it as what’s best for the league,” said UMaine coach Bob Walsh. “I think the initial response as a coach is, ‘I don’t want there to be a chance that I don’t make the league tournament because then that’s a disaster.'”
The University of Maine has been selected to host the 2018 America East Baseball Championship at Mahaney Diamond in Orono. The six-team, double-elimination even will be held May 23-26, 2018.
