FALMOUTH — Have you ever wondered where common loons go in the winter, what they eat or how they spend their time? Dr. James Paruk, associate professor of biology at St. Joseph’s College, has been studying the winter ecology of common loons for the past 10 years and has made some interesting findings. Dr. Paruk will give a talk on his research at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Gilsland Farm Audubon Center — members $5, and nonmembers $7.
